TV Turnoff Week
April 19-23, 2010
The Falls Church Elementary PTA is participating in TV-Turnoff Week 2010, April 19-23. The Week is a nationwide event sponsored by TV-Turnoff Network ( www.turnoff.org ) during which millions of children and adults pledge to spend their days reading, working in their communities and spending time with family and friends, rather than watching TV. We think that TV-Turnoff Week 2010 is a great way to jumpstart our kids into more reading, learning, and active play. It’s also a lot of fun!
The following events have been scheduled throughout the week so that everyone has an opportunity to attend one or more events :
